Welcome to the New South Wales Branch of the Economic Society of Australia.

Now in its 85th year, the New South Wales Branch is the largest of the State Branches. We welcome membership to our organisation, and attendance at our program of events, to anyone interested in contemporary economic issues and debate.

Over the past year we have organised an exciting line up of events including a visit by Professor Joseph Stiglitz, the Australian Economic Forum 2010, and the 39th Australian Conference of Economists.

We also have a number of lunch time seminars hosted by the Reserve Bank of Australia, and our Emerging Economist Seminar Series, which is now in its fourth year.
